Kahli Zeigler, Studio Owner and Artistic Director
Chris Zeigler, Studio Owner
Chris and Kahli Zeigler have been the owners/directors of Elevation Dance Company since its creation in 2014. When they opened the studio, they wanted the studio to be a place where students would feel safe, loved, and learn great dance technique.
Kahli graduated from Anderson University in 2014 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been dancing since she was two years old, and started competing when she was five. She has been dancing ever since! Through high school she assisted in classes, and in college she started teaching and choreographing on her own. Opening a studio was always a dream for her, and she is so thankful to be able to spread her love of dance to the Pendleton and Anderson communities!
Chris graduated with a degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management from Clemson University in 2013. He focused his studies and internships in sports and special event management. Chris worked as a Kitchen Manager at Chick-fil-A of Clemson from 2014-2019. He now works full time at the dance studio, working to make sure everyone has a positive experience at EDC!

She is excited to start her second season at EDC!

She is trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Hip-Hop. Julianne was a competitive dancer for 11 years and traveled to numerous competitions and conventions over the years, including Tremaine, Artists Simply Human, Co. Dance, and Nuvo dance conventions, where she explored many diverse styles of dance from the top names in the industry. In February of 2015, she received a scholarship from ASH Dance Convention to the Milennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles and Peri Dance Center in New York City. Twice she had the opportunity to perform in Walt Disney World and take a Disney-Broadway master class. Most recently, she traveled to Chicago for the Energize Dance Teacher Conference. Julianne is a junior at Clemson University and is studying Biological Sciences. While she continued to dance her first year at Clemson, she knew something important was missing from her life, which was teaching. Julianne is so grateful that she found this dance family so far away from home and has the opportunity to share her love for dance with so many dancers each week. She is super excited to be kicking off her second year with Elevation Dance Company this fall and can’t wait to see what this year has in store!

Alex Wigington, Part Time Teacher
She began dancing recreationally at the age of 2 years old. Just a few years later, she was enrolled in competition classes. Now, at the age of 25, the love of dance and teaching children has grown even stronger. As a dancer, Alex won multiple High Score awards, National Championships, and other great achievements. After graduations, she began to teach dance classes at a local dance studio, opened her own dance studio a couple of years later, and soon found her passion for teaching and guiding students! Outside of dance, Alex is married to her wonderful husband, Bo, and has 2 dogs Mylo and Max. She currently lives in the Piedmont area. Alex loves the feeling of seeing her students grow into amazing people and to help try and mold them into the best they can be! She looks forward to this dance season, and can't wait to see how all of the dancers grow this year!
